# Agent Runs

Retirement of hosted framework-run dispatch and the current boundaries between run inspection, conversation execution, and harness context.

The standalone hosted framework-run service has been retired. The former run-dispatch and framework-run polling endpoints are absent from the current public Platform API contract. The [native-agent definition registry](/developer-guide/platform-api/functions/agent-definitions.md) was retired with that service.

For current integrations:

* Start and continue supported hosted interactions through [Conversations](/developer-guide/platform-api/conversations.md), or use [Calls](/developer-guide/platform-api/conversations/calls.md) for phone workflows.
* Browse and inspect retained execution records through the channel-neutral [Runs](/developer-guide/platform-api/conversations/runs.md) surface. Listing a historical framework run does not imply that new runs of that kind can be dispatched.
* Retrieve service bootstrap information through [Harness Context](/developer-guide/platform-api/functions/harness-context.md). That read-only operation does not start a run or return patient context.

Some Forge and SDK releases retain commands or methods for the former dispatch and definition APIs. Check the current endpoint contract before using those client surfaces.
